National Funds | Remembrance Screen
From forgetting to remembering. We developed an interactive touchscreen application for the exhibition stand of the National Fund of the Republic of Austria for Victims of National Socialism.
MWith a selection of photographs and life stories, visitors to the stand were given new, personal insights into the lives of some of the victims of National Socialism.
Visitors could leave a digital stone as a sign of respect. Placing small stones on graves is an old tradition at Jewish burial sites as an act of remembrance for the deceased.
The interactive application involves the public, contributes to the reappraisal of Austrian history and provides insights into personal dimensions.
